We Are Five Months Old Today!!!

There were big celebrations going on all over town for our five month birthday.  The fireworks were definitely a nice touch!

Fireworks yes, 104 degree weather not so much.  Here we are getting ready for our day.  We have the "bare" essentials, diapers, sunscreen and sun hats!

We've learned a lot in our first five months; we are still working on sharing!

Our Adventures From Month Four

We had a fun visit from Aunt Stephie and Cousin Shelby!

We were inspired by the Kentucky Derby and thanks to Aunt Stacey and Uncle Ed we have begun our training. 

Ava is excited to win her own Triple Crown!

We started eating some semi-solid foods.  We started at the beginning of the alphabet with Avocados!

We are still trying to get the hang of this whole eating from a spoon thing.

 

We also need work on our alphabet because we went from Avocados to Sweet Potatoes.

We finally are big enough to give our exersaucers a whirl.  Mommy calls them the circles of over stimulation!

Grayson just thinks they are chew toys.  As you can tell by the amount of drool on his shirt, he has begun teething.

Ava gives her smile of approval for our living room's newest addition. 

Speaking of teething, Ava's hand is a permanent fixture in her mouth.

We've started rolling over on a regular basis, so now we need more room on the floor.

Grayson has already started developing his political views...Maybe with some influence from Daddy?

Road Trip!

In May we took our first road trip and drove six hours to visit family in Nebraska.

"What are you smiling about, we are stuck in a hotel room at the Days Inn, it's hot and we have these 'rediculous' outfits on."

Aunt Stephie also organized a trip to the photo studio to commemorate our visit.
